Phenyx Pro PAS-227X antenna combiner for in-ear monitor systems

Installation Guide : Introducing the PAS-227X Antenna Combiner System

The Phenyx Pro PAS-227X antenna combiner simplifies complex wireless in-ear monitor (IEM) setups by merging up to four transmitters into a single antenna. It helps reduce RF interference and cable clutter and improves wireless stability for churches, live events and AV installations.

How an antenna combiner works

Multiple RF signals from your IEM transmitters travel by coaxial cable to the combiner. The combiner merges them and sends them to one antenna, which transmits all the mixes across their different frequencies. Because you use a paddle antenna, you can place it high or in the clear for better reception and less interference. The beltpack receivers then pick up the signals, convert them back to audio and deliver a clean mix to each performer's in-ear monitors.

On a busy stage, a combiner cleans up the RF environment and strengthens the signal so your IEM setup stays reliable.

Key features of the PAS-227X

Replace the clutter of separate antennas

Instead of a mess of closely spaced antennas, the PAS-227X has four antenna inputs and merges up to four IEM transmitter signals into one output. This reduces dead spots caused by cross-polarisation fades and interference from intermodulation distortion, which extends coverage and improves reliability.

16-level gain control

Adjust gain in 16 steps up to +6 dB. In a large venue, raise the gain to offset signal loss. In a crowded RF environment, lower it to avoid overload.

Works with most IEM brands

The PAS-227X covers 450-970 MHz, so it works with nearly all wireless IEM systems in that range.

Easy to set up

The compact half-rack design saves rack space, the removable feet make rack installation quick, and a built-in tie-off keeps the power cable tidy. An RF LED indicator on the front panel shows the signal from each IEM transmitter in real time.
